About the role

You will support world-class science by leading, monitoring, and advising on health, safety, and regulatory compliance issues.

Whilst being a key member of the Health & Safety Team, you will also have responsibility for leading on H&S within the BGS laboratories, as well as having the flexibility and knowledge to support other functions across BGS.

Your key duties / responsibilities will also include:

  • Provide expert safety advice and practical guidance for BGS laboratory staff and be the first point of contact for all enquiries.
