ROLE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working as a Student Mentor in the Foundation's Engage inclusion programme.
- Assisting with planning of the Engage programme.
- Complete progression passports with students identifying their next steps and goal setting.
- The ability to communicate and conduct professional relationships with children, young people, and adults.
- Completing daily student reports, writing, and corresponding with schools and external professionals
- Leading sports delivery and supporting our young people.
- Creating an environment where young people are able to succeed.
- Understand how to safeguard the wellbeing of children and young people.
- Driving license essential
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
- Ability to communicate and conduct professional relationships with children, young people, and adults.
- Understand how to safeguard the wellbeing of children and young people.
- Ability to build strong relationships, work as a team as well as using your own initiative.
- Experience of working with young people, ideally those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
- Strong communication skills with both adults and young people.
- Committed to demonstrating the highest standards of delivery to our young people.
- Positive mindset, reliable and resilient.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 18 months experience of working with young people (E)
- Premiership Rugby
- Safeguarding L2/3) (D)
- Prevent Training (D)
- First aid (D)
- Team Teach (D)
- L2 Coaching (D)
- Mental health first aid (D)
OTHER
There is the option with this role to be Part time (40 weeks/year term time) or full time (52weeks/year)
A full, clean driving license held for more than 6 months is essential.
