ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working as a Student Mentor in the Foundation's Engage inclusion programme.
  • Assisting with planning of the Engage programme.
  • Complete progression passports with students identifying their next steps and goal setting.
  • The ability to communicate and conduct professional relationships with children, young people, and adults.
  • Completing daily student reports, writing, and corresponding with schools and external professionals
  • Leading sports delivery and supporting our young people.
  • Creating an environment where young people are able to succeed.
  • Understand how to safeguard the wellbeing of children and young people.
  • Driving license essential

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

  • Ability to communicate and conduct professional relationships with children, young people, and adults.
  • Understand how to safeguard the wellbeing of children and young people.
  • Ability to build strong relationships, work as a team as well as using your own initiative.
  • Experience of working with young people, ideally those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
  • Strong communication skills with both adults and young people.
  • Committed to demonstrating the highest standards of delivery to our young people.
  • Positive mindset, reliable and resilient.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 18 months experience of working with young people (E)


  • Premiership Rugby

  • Safeguarding L2/3) (D)
  • Prevent Training (D)
  • First aid (D)
  • Team Teach (D)
  • L2 Coaching (D)
  • Mental health first aid (D)

OTHER
There is the option with this role to be Part time (40 weeks/year term time) or full time (52weeks/year)

A full, clean driving license held for more than 6 months is essential.
