Spencer Clarke Group are working alongside
Kensington & Chelsea Council to appoint a
Pest Control Technician on a contract basis.

**Duties: - To carry out detailed inspections (including adjacent buildings or floors) to identify the likely source of infestation.

  • To devise control/ eradication treatments for a wide range of pests (including, but not limited to rats, mice, fleas, bedbugs, cockroaches, other crawling insects, wasps, squirrels and birds) in accordance with industry standards (taking all required precautionsto prevent the contamination of food and water and access to the poisons by nontarget species), COSHH assessments and Council operational procedures.
  • To reinspect infested premises, replenish consumed baits or change baits until the infestation is cleared and to recover all baits, poisons and traps once the programme is complete or if an unacceptable risk to health and safety to either the Pest ControlOfficer, other people, nontarget species or any other aspect of the environment.
**To be put forward for this role, you must have the following: - Excellent knowledge of rodent and insect pests, including their biology and methods of control.

  • Recent experience of delivering pest control treatments and offering proofing advice.
  • Driving Licence
