Job Title:
Resource Controller


Base Location:
Exeter (Barnstaple 1 day per week)

Salary:
£19,778 - £26,120 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern:40 hours per week Mon-Fri

What will I be doing in this role?
As Resource Controller, you'll be responsible for making sure we use company resources in the most efficient way possible. You'll understand stock management and demand, and how this is influenced by both external and internal factors.
Alongside this, you will be accountable for ensuring the depot is a safe working environment, for colleagues and visitors.

Some of your role will involve:

  • Maintaining minimum/maximum stock levels
  • Raising and managing purchase orders
  • Ensuring stock and assets are efficiently stored and in a safe manner
  • Manage waste disposal in compliance of industry regulations
  • Maintaining up to date COSHH documentation
  • Planning vehicle maintenance/repairs

What do I need to be successful in the role?

  • We would love for you to join us with some experience controlling and managing stock levels, preferably within the industry if possible
  • You are well organised and can prioritize and coordinate tasks to meet deadlines with mínimal supervision.
  • You'll have a high regard for safety, embedding yourself in our safety culture and adhering to guidelines in everything you do.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital
  • You will have brilliant customer relationship skills with a commitment to providing highlevel service at all times.
  • You'll be enthusiastic and driven, with a flexible approach to work and an ability to adapt to changing business and project priorities.
  • Due to the responsibilities of this role, a Forklift license would be a distinct advantage
- but not essential.
