Description
Heathfield House delivers care and support to elderly residents, some of whom are living with dementia.

We are looking to hire enthusiastic and caring staff members for the role of orderly/dining room assistant in the evenings.


Shift Times
16:00-21:00

Please note you will be required to work weekends in this role.


Job Role


Under the supervision of the Head Chef and Chef or other competent person assists in the safe and efficient delivery of nutritional care to residents.


Understands and supports the main aims and values of the home, its policies and procedures, and how their work and that of other staff promotes the aims of the home.


Task Include:


  • Serving meals to residents within the dining room and their bedrooms.
  • Refreshing residents juice/water jugs in their rooms
  • Serving tea/coffee and snacks to residents in lounges and in their rooms
  • Clearing dining areas and resetting for next meal time
  • Recording residents intake of food and fluids where required
  • Understanding special dietary requirements for residents
  • Assisting residents with mealtimes when required

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent


Salary:
£10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
