This is a temporary post, offering an immediate start and will be 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

This is very much a hands-on role and will require a degree of physical abilities, strong customer service skills and to be able to react quickly to change.

As a valued team member, this is an essential role at the Defence Centre, within the (QM) Department, supporting the team with the management and control of general stores and equipment for 1600 personnel.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:
Assist in the management of the day to day running of the stores.

Issuing and receipting equipment to personnel.

Ensuring all equipment is clean and serviceable.

Maintaining documentation for stores accounting and auditing.

Assisting the team with daily and weekly checks.

Supporting the QM with building checks, fire checks and fault reporting.

Ideally having worked in a similar role, with working knowledge of manual handling and H&S awareness, although training will be provided.
