Responsible for delivering training and quality control at LHR and to ensure the station is fully compliant with standards laid down by Menzies Aviation, our airline customers, national and international controlling authorities.

Ensure employees' training records are correct, valid, and updated in line with both the regulating authorities' requirements and statutory regulations.

Drive a consistent standard of excellence and quality across all areas of the operation.

  • To deliver all required training to the highest possible standard in line with the Menzies Learning and Development Policy and to ensure records and compliance are kept up to date and accurate.
  • Effective communication with the FOH Duty Manager and Training and Quality Lead to ensure staff are available for the observation and assessments.
  • Gather and process all data and documentation necessary for the fulfilment of the success of the Training Department by manual, automated or computerized systems including report writing.
  • To demonstrate a great level of flexibility in attending and delivering the company and airline courses by existing and future airline customers.
  • To attend any courses that will be required by Menzies Aviation to enable them to carry out regulatory and mandatory training on behalf of Menzies Aviation worldwide.
  • Any other reasonable duty as requested

  • Take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and of others who may be affected by theiractions or omissions whilst at work
  • Cooperate with their Manager / Supervisor in order to allow them to perform or comply with any legal requirements imposed on the company
  • Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided by the company in the interests of health, safety or welfare reasons.
  • Inform their Manager / Supervisor of any work situation, equipment or activity that represents a serious or immediate danger to health and safety.
  • Report any hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents or dangerous occurrences to their Manager / Supervisor, who will then follow the procedures contained in this manual.
  • Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific workplace health and safety rules or procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Must possess thorough knowledge of DFT regulations, the H & S Act and other compliances
  • Must be proactive and forward
  • Must have excellent time keeping and attendance record.
  • Must be flexible and be able to time manage their working day
  • Airline knowledge specific to the airlines handled at
  • Must have a proven level of experience and knowledge within their role, with a minimum of 6 months service within the role that they are supporting and an acceptable performance record.
