Hexcel is currently seeking a Source Change Specialist for our Duxford, UK location.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

To manage Duxford Source Change projects to ensure that raw material changes to Duxford manufactured products are validated and approved in accordance with the Change Control procedure (GP006)
To manage the Duxford Source Change team to ensure that Source Change activities are coordinated across the various site functions involved and are completed on time
To support Duxford Operations to ensure that process changes in production are validated and approved in accordance with the Change Control procedure (GP006)
To manage Duxford SC projects assess the potential risks associated with a change, communicate change details to all relevant stakeholders, negotiate and agree change validation test plans with customers and suppliers, coordinate change activities across the various functions on site, generate the necessary test date to support change validations, document change validation in technical report format, seek customer approval of change as required and maintain accurate records of change validation projects.
To act as the focal point for Duxford change queries
To foster technical contacts with customers and suppliers
To support Duxford Process Change teams
To issue monthly project updates

Qualifications:

Technical background in an engineering or science discipline

- effective project management and communication skills, and be able to work independently or as a team member

Able to present Hexcel in a professional and responsible manner, to suppliers and customers, regarding change management
Able to command the personal respect and confidence of colleagues and customers for technical ability
