CATERING ASSISTANT - IMMEDIATE START

TEXT ST HELENS TO
An excellent opportunity has become available to join our non-profit charitable organisation, in the role of a Catering Assistant/Chef.


You would be responsible for the preparation of high-quality catering across our organisation, assisting with buffets preparation and when required, taking deliveries of food.


Key tasks:
- food preparation
- cleaning of the kitchen, store rooms, dining room and maintain the overall hygiene and appearance of the catering department
- logging of the used food and minimising waste
- updating the daily stock sheets
- logging day to day maintenance/repair works required
- follow all organisation's policies and procedure


Experience, skills and abilities:
- previous experience in catering role is essential
- good communication and organisational skills with high attention to detail
- reliable and responsible team player
- positive, approachable and adaptable nature

Working times:

Monday to Saturday 8am - 6:30pm (1 hour for unpaid lunch break) or Sunday 10am - 12pm, 2pm - 6:30pm.

You would be on a monthly rota, weekend work would be required occasionally. Weekly hours would total to hours.
