We've recently invested £30 million in a state of the art manufacturing plant, and due to continued growth, we're looking for a highly skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our busy finance department.

As Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be a key member of the fantastic Finance Team.

Highly organised, with strong planning skills and exceptional attention to detail, you'll be comfortable balancing your busy and varied responsibilities, combined with your passion for purchase ledger and cash book.

Our Purchase Ledger Clerk will:


  • Accurately process a high volume of purchase invoices
  • Proactively resolve invoice and payment queries
  • Help drive improvements in our new purchase to pay system
  • Code direct purchase ledger invoices
  • Reconcile account balances
  • Manage a variety of payment requests and queries
  • Ensure payments are made correctly in multiple currencies
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Process company expenses and credit cards
  • Support with month and year end procedures

You bring:


  • A minimum of 5 years purchase ledger experience
  • GCSE Maths and English Grade A*C
  • ERP system experience advantageous
