We are currently looking to recruit into a 12 month secondment as an KTC Reception Team Leader at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Trust.

You will be based in the King's Treatment Centre at King's Mill Hospital, however you will be responsible for Medical Records and the Reception Team at Mansfield Community Hospital so you will need to travel between these sites.


We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic manager who is keen to drive improvements that will put the patient and customer care at the forefront of the service we provided.


The role requires the ability to work any day of the week and between the hours of 8.00 am and 8.00 pm to meet the needs of our clinics.


  • To support the Patient Services Manager in providing a high quality reception service in all clinics.
  • To ensure that reception, clinic preparation services are provided consistently across the Community hospitals with the highest standard of customer care.
  • Support the development and implementation of new systems or service changes in response to change in demands or the requirement for new ways of working.
  • Ensure sound collection of information relating to patient details and patient activity paying particular attention to the requirements of data quality, timely clinic reconciliation and 18 weeks RTT and Payment by Results.
  • To support and ensure ongoing training of all staff to ensure that all of the above are achieved.
  • To ensure that administrative policies and procedures are adhered to and contribute to updating these as business processes change.
