Barnes Roffe Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Administrator to join one of their clients based in Sidcup, Kent.


What is the role?
As an Accounts Administrator, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Opening all new Supplier accounts on Sage
  • Checking all supplier account details are up to date
  • Logging and nominal coding all supplier invoices, making sure these are all coded correctly within the P/L.
  • Marking purchase invoices as disputed until authorised.
  • Sending all purchase ledger invoices for authorization to various departments and follow up, for their return.
  • Requesting all Supplier month end statements and check these against the account. Requesting any missing supplier invoices.
  • Processing all Sales invoices in Liftdata. Sending all invoices to clients for payment.
  • Loading sales invoices on the clients' portals, ensuring they have a valid purchase order before doing so.
  • Helping out on all other accounting issues that arise.
  • Experience of SAGE software and MS Office Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, confidence

  • Able to prioritise and work unsupported
  • Personnel management skills and knowledge of employment, company and taxation laws
  • Commercial awareness
