This role is responsible for our people polies as colleague propositions and ensuring adherence to relevant employment laws and regulations whilst crafting a phenomenal experience for our line managers and colleagues.


Day to day you'll be:

  • Taking ownership for the formulation, implementation, and continuous improvement of specific people propositions, policies and procedures to reflect Lloyds Banking Group's values, culture, and legal obligations. Transforming our people policies and employment contracts, so they signal changes to our culture and ways of working.
  • Utilising data and insights, Identify root causes of cultural challenges and design strategic interventions that address systemic issues optimally. Unpicking complex organisational systems, policies and processes through comprehensive analysis.
  • Partnering with and guiding senior team members through our change journey to build alignment and advocacy for systemic changes that meets their business and customer needs. Collaborates with People Partners, Centres of Excellence teams and Employee Relations to understand business needs and incorporate them into the design process.
  • Supporting regulatory reporting & risk management activities. Establishing and oversees a robust risk management framework to support regular risk assessments, reviews and reporting, ensuring compliance with Group risk policies and procedures.

About you:
What we need from you

  • Experience of leading indepth assessments of existing propositions and policies with the ability to identify areas of improvement stakeholders using databacked decisions.
  • Leads development of userfriendly content; video, events, policy guides, FAQs, and communication materials to improve the employee experience.
  • Keeps abreast with employment laws, regulations, and industry standards, actively monitoring changes and updating propositions and policies accordingly to ensure full compliance.
  • Works collaboratively with stakeholders to modify policies, ensuring adherence to labour laws and suggests mitigations to any potential legal risks.
