Culina Group operates from over 65 depots across the UK and Ireland, serving more than650 + clients over its framework of chilled, ambient, contract packaging solutions and fresh and baked goods.

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team in our new Lutterworth Depot. You will have been involved with start-up operations, and will engage, lead and motivate a warehouse team.

Ensuring delivery of all Key Performance Indicatorsand business requirements for the warehouse operation, covering all aspects of costs, compliance and safety in line with budgetary expectations for the site.

As part of the Depot Management team, you will play a crucial part in the day to day operations, identifying areas of development for the team and use your coaching and leadership skills to bring different groups together, to drive and create a new workculture that is enjoyable for everyone.

Role Responsibilities:

Overseeing management of the warehouse pick and operation functions, ensuring SLA's and KPI's are met and costs are controlled.
Effective performance management of team to ensure that targets are met and to ensure that the warehouse operational team are motivated and have the relevant skills, knowledge and attitude to contribute effectively to maximise accuracy and productivity.
Working closely with site management team to ensure that any issues are dealt with efficiently and service levels are maintained.
Overall responsibility for training for use of equipment of MHE and operating equipment for all employees and record keeping.
Ensuring productivity and activity is measured in line with budgetary labour costs.
Ensuring that daily handover reports and warehouse management reports are completed.
Responsible for ensuring that H&S procedures are adhered to at all times including visitors and contractors.
Responsibility for BRC requirements / internal quality standards of the site and ensure the operation adheres to the demands of this.
Overall responsibility for site services, ensuring that buildings, racking and general yard are kept to a high standard.
Overall responsibility to ensure site projects run to schedule and to budget, overseeing schedules of work, and finding solutions to problems that may cause delay

- visual inspection of work and frequent tours of the site and regular site safety checks are undertaken.

Playing a major role in on and off site meetings with internal and external customers to ensure business requirements are met.

Qualifications

Educated to Alevel standard or equivalent or have on the job experience
Driving licence
Supervisory / Management qualification
IOSH managing safely
Operational management experience within a FMCG warehouse environment
People management experience, including direct and indirect reports
Customer relationship management
Budget and productivity management
Operational management experience within a temperaturecontrolled warehouse environment
Working within a quality system framework BRC/ISO
Project management and delivery
