A great opportunity to join our Warehouse Team based at Trane UK Limited's warehouse in Basingstoke.


Job Summary:


Your role will be to deliver goods between the warehouse and customers whilst also assisting the Service technicians carry out installations in the most efficient manner.

The role will also support the warehouse manager with tasks around the warehouse such as picking, loading and receiving. All tasks ensuring the highest standards of Environment, Health and Safety.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving a flatbed truck and forklift is an essential part of this role
  • Preparation of ancillary equipment to meet specific customer orders
  • Preparation of equipment for the rental fleet
  • Cleaning, testing and repairing of returned rental equipment where required
  • Delivering rental items to customer sites
  • Assisting the Service Technician to install rental systems
  • Pick/Pack/Ship/Receive/Load as instructed by the warehouse manager
  • Highlighting any repairs needed
  • Delivering and collecting service items (e.g. cylinders and HVAC parts)
  • Work involves lifting (must be able to safely lift legal manual handling limits, training provided)
  • Ensure attendance at a monthly Tool Box Talk

Qualifications:


  • Hold a Fork Lift Driving License would be an advantage for this role
  • Competent in Health & Safety within a production environment
  • Hold a UK Drivers license
