Here at Ecoglass Ltd, we are looking for a Factory Operative to work on our backshift in our Despatch department.

Key responsibilities will include;

Inspecting units for quality
Polishing out scratches and dealing with other defects
Loading units onto vehicles in a safe and secure way
Ensuring units are loaded into the correct customer racks
Keeping area tidy
Ensure Health & Safety is adhered to at all times

We are looking for someone with the following competencies;

Glass handling experience desirable
A selfstarter by nature with a positive, 'can do' attitude
Excellent communication skills
Able to work independently
Remain calm under pressure
Physically demanding role
Confident in the handling of glass

Working hours; 40 hours per week,

Monday - Thursday 5.00pm -2.30am Fri 4.00pm -8.00pm, hours may alter slightly.

You would be training for the first 2-3 weeks on the day shift working Mon -Fri 7am -4pm. Then move onto the backshift, working the hours set out above.

£11.00 per hour

Experience:

- glass handling: 2 years (preferred)
