Scope:
Lead the process of identification and selection of improvement opportunities. Coordinate the launch of improvement projects which will drive OEE improvement at Newbridge Bottling facility.
Basic Function:
Responsible for the development, administration, execution and review of all bottling CI activities to help ensure production targets and OEE improvements are met.
Drive and sustain TPM activities within the site by taking a leading role in developing and sustaining the CI framework for Newbridge bottling.
Responsibilities:
Production / Safety / Quality / Environmental:
- Support the Front Line Leaders to drive safety initiatives.
- Ensure that safe working conditions exist and that all programmes and policies are effectively implemented and practiced.
- Ensure compliance with BF quality policies, standards, and systems.
- Actively engage with site EHS committee and support attainment of compliance metrics
Leadership / Planning / Administration:
- Assess current methods/machines/materials/manning in the production area and gather data to create improvement opportunities.
- Be accountable for driving TPM development and implementation across the production site.
- In collaboration with the Departmental Managers and Front Line Leaders drive CI opportunities to conclusion, holding key stakeholders to accountability.
- Support Engineering Team in adaption of equipment to aid operator led changeovers.
- Support the Production Team in introduction of centrelining techniques on production equipment.
- Support focused improvement projects in key areas
- Support site in meeting strategic priorities
- Lead and facilitate OEE /CI weekly meetings
- Utilise downtime database to create focus improvement activities
HR Management:
- Roll out coaching / training in continuous improvement tools to teams across the site
- Actively seek diversity of thought when working to solve problems, overcome challenges and innovate
Financial Management:
- Support and promote projects focused on reducing waste
- Generate an operational culture with a "Zero Loss" approach
