The Bricklayers Arms is a Traditional country pub located in the lovely village of Shamley Green, current landlord & landlady have been running this busy pub for 18 years with their small team of loyal bar & kitchen staff & have created a relaxed & friendly community pub offering traditional pub food with daily specials.

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team working in our busy kitchen as a cook.

As a cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and delivering high-quality traditional pub food to our customers.

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards
• Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times
• Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal service
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all kitchen procedures and guidelines

• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
• Experience in food preparation, preferably in a restaurant or culinary setting
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
