Reporting into the Senior Director of Business Strategy & Performance, the role is focused on ensuring the CME Cash Market business is armed with, can analyze and efficiently interpret key business drivers to make the best decisions to achieve business, productand customer goals.

Leveraging multiple business intelligence tools such as Looker, Power BI, Business Objects and external data sources, this role is focused on helping the Cash Markets leadership teams develop data-based strategies around all aspects ofthe business.

This includes working closely within the CME operating model alongside Product teams, CME Group Strategy, Pricing, Corporate Development & Sales, counterparts in Financials & OTC products and CME Financial Planning & Analysis.


Principal Accountabilities:


  • FX and Fixed Income Platform analytics volume, revenue, client segment, system performance, matching metrics, liquidity charts and spreads historical analysis. Drive data and client related data decisions to help product leads to continually deliver platformsthat are "best in world" trading venues of choice.
  • Support the Cash Markets Product teams with Board and Financial & OTC Products Division strategy work including Board materials for senior management.
  • Analyze alternative platform metrics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, reporting on trends and changes in internal structures by sub product as well as industry wide market changes.
  • Support the business to understand key monthly changes in Client trading patterns by providing product specific trend analysis, including macroeconomic facilitating interactive review sessions on a monthly basis with product teams.
  • Support the business to understand key EBS Credit analytics spot, prime bank, direct relationship trading
  • Work with the business to support new business initiatives including helping in the creation of business cases and rollout of new product features and trading methodologies.

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to deliver tasks in timely manner.

  • Able to think objectively addressing points of discussion openly and constructively.
  • Credible and comfortable dealing with all levels across the business.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are a must with the ability to build good cross divisional working relationships with minimum direction.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong clear and concise communication skills both oral and written.
  • Service oriented, adaptable and resilient.
  • Working Capital Markets, FX and or Fixed Income market knowledge would be advantageous
  • Business Intelligence report system and development skills would be advantageous
