Our aim is to be one of the top UK integrated extrusion and flexible packaging manufacturers, focusing on customers high expectations of quality and service whilst continuing our investment, growth and development into environmentally friendly products.

Our Head Office is situated on the Rotherwas Industrial Estate in Hereford, where we employ over 90 members of staff operating slitting machines, printing presses and extruders.

In 2021 we acquired a second site situated on Baglan Energy Park in Port Talbot, where we employ over 50 employees running multiple extrusion lines as well as conversion facilities.

There is a vacancy at our factory in Port Talbot for an Industrial Cleaner.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the role will entail working independently to ensure the highest level of cleanliness across production areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:

Cleaning production areas, machinery, site facilities and some general maintenance;
To maintain a clean and safe environment for the daytoday operations of the facility;
To operate industrial cleaning machine and professional cleaning equipment if required;
To notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs;
To complete nonroutine cleaning according to specified job orders;
To handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests;
To ensure health & safety rules are adhered to;
To maintain up to date cleaning records.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

A safety and quality focused individual who takes pride in their work with the ability to use their own initiative and has good organisational skills
Ability to manage and deal with change in a fast moving and demanding environment whilst still maintaining standards set within the business
Good attendance and time keeping
Excellent, professional work ethic
Previous cleaning experience is essential
Industrial cleaning experience is desirable
Good team working skills and good communication skills
