Operations Maintenance Co-ordinator:

Purpose & key responsibilities of the role:

The Operations Maintenance Co-ordinator's role will be to ensure that operational equipment scheduled for maintenance is prepared and available for the agreed work, in line with both production demands and engineering availability, to maximise OEE and minimise downtime in our Lyocell fibre plant.


Principal Accountabilities:


  • You will evaluate maintenance notifications in order to agree on prioritisation of work in cooperation with the Operations and Engineering teams
  • You will prepare equipment in readiness for the agreed maintenance window, including cleaning and isolation
  • You will prepare and issue control of work documentation where required, including permit to work and SWPs
  • You will monitor and / or oversee the timely and efficient completion of the equipment maintenance (based on risk ranking of the work being performed)
  • You will regularly liaise with the Production and Engineering Teams to ensure clear and concise communication / information transfer on equipment / work status, control of work and opportunities for improvement
  • You will contribute to control of work and contractor reviews where necessary
  • You will support the Area Manufacturing Specialist in periods of site shutdown

Our expectations for this exciting role:

  • You have minimum GCSE Maths and English Language grade A
  • C or equivalent
  • You hold a NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
  • You are experienced in control of work / permit to work processess including isolations
  • You have experience of interrogating SAP engineering notifications
  • You can demonstrate a safe, positive, mature and responsible attitude.
  • You are a good, thoughtful communicator with the ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team.
  • You have a proactive approach to continuous improvement in the Safety and Quality aspects of the work.

The monthly gross salary for this position is according to collective agreement in the chemical industry based on 38 working hours/week at least EUR xxx.

with a willingness to overpay - depending on qualifications and experience.
Additionally you will also take part in the Lenzing bonus system.
