Machine Operator
Are you an experienced
Machine Operator? Have you worked in food production for several years and are looking for a role that can offer you career progression? Happy to work 12-hour shifts on days and nights?


£28704 plus overtime

Working hours of a Machine Operator:12hrs days & 12 hrs nights - rotated shift pattern. Averaging 44 hours per week

Duties of a Machine Operator:


  • Ensure machines are set up and checklist are completed prior to production commencing.
  • Maintain equipment during production and carry out regular maintenance.
  • Ensure the safety of fellow colleagues and our products.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to the line, equipment, process, and quality checks.
  • Provide assistance with machine changeovers ready for production
  • Carry out specified regular line cleaning operations.
  • Mind the machines and machine output.
  • Work alongside the quality team to ensure the quality and safety of our product.
  • Collate production information and entering information in relevant systems (electronic or manual)
  • Work in a controlled and safe manner at all times.

Skills needed to be a successful Machine Operator:

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Willing to change tasks or departments as production requires
  • Selfmotivated and able to work with mínimal supervision, and follow instructions
  • Reliable, hardworking and can work within a team in a very busy, fastpaced environment
  • Good attendance, flexibility to hours and punctual
  • Willingness to learn and progress in your role
