Description

Join Close Brothers Debt Capital Markets Team where you will play a key role in supporting the establishment of new funding initiatives as well as the renewal of existing secured and unsecured wholesale funding facilities.

This includes providing input,analysis and project management support to the team as required.

In addition, the Debt Capital Markets Senior Analyst will be responsible for taking a leading role in the ongoing reporting requirements and performance management of the existing asset-backedfacilities, whilst contributing to the wider activities undertaken by the Debt Capital Markets team to deliver the strategic funding plan.


The Debt Capital Markets team, within the Treasury Division of Close Brothers Limited, establishes and manages a dynamic range of secured transactions utilising collateral from several divisions of the Bank.

The team are also responsible for maintainingthe Bank's unsecured wholesale funding programmes and utilising these programmes to strategically fund the Bank and Group via unsecured debt issuance.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy

  • Provide input towards the structuring and execution of assetbacked funding facilities.
  • Support execution of unsecured wholesale funding initiatives
  • Input into the development of legal documentation process for funding facilities.
  • Undertake analysis on the optimal uses of collateral.

People

  • Lead the management of the bank's post issuance reporting for asset backed transactions
  • Lead the interaction with the lending divisions to understand the nuances of each asset classes data, performance, behaviours and credit
Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain relationships with external parties including banks, investors and rating agencies.
  • Organise and collate due diligence requirements, responding in a timely manner to third party stakeholders.

Process

  • Lead the development of the data reporting processes and procedures whilst meeting internal policy and control requirements.
  • Ensure that secured funding reporting is compliant with funding facility documentation and is up to the appropriate standard.

Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:

  • Secured funding / securitisation experience
  • Ability to communicate complex methodologies and procedures in a simple and coherent manner
  • Cashflow modelling experience
  • Good financial market awareness
  • Advanced MS Excel / VBA
  • Strong knowledge of data extraction and manipulation
  • Attention to Detail
  • Strong problemsolving skills
  • Initiative and ability to work on their own

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:

  • Knowledge of SME and consumer lending or other financial services industry experience
  • Business Objects/ MS Access experience
