Description

Are you a qualified, experienced and strategic
Group Financial Controller? We are partnering with a national award winning company, seeking the right person on a Fixed Term Contract for this vital role in the business, to support their continuedgrowth.

The Group Financial Controller is a part of the finance leadership team and senior within the business.


The role

You will be responsible for leading the finance team alongside the CFO, with responsibilities that include production of the management accounts, the financial statements, and Solvency II regulatory reporting.

You will support the budgeting and forecastingprocess, oversee financial controls and provide commercial and strategic leadership in a financial context and having significant involvement in, key finance projects, such as IFRS 17 implementation.


Key Skills
- proven leadership skills with a hands on operational approach
- strong technical skills and a demonstrated ability to learn
- strong analytical skills
- delivering quality results to deadlines

  • Experience with IFRS 17, Solvency II and investment accounting is desirable for the ideal person
  • Able to work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, colleagues and providers

About you
- an accounting qualification

  • 3 years relevant accounting experience
  • Previous team management experience
  • Excellent communication at all levels and different audiences
