My client is looking to recruit an experienced IT Project Manager who will be involved in delivering a range of projects, from implementing business change to developing new systems, enhancing existing platforms and software.


In addition, we need a PM who can demonstrate that they have delivered technical projects which involved business change and who can demonstrate that they have excellent stakeholder management skills.


Purpose of the Role:


  • Managing the projects to successful delivery within Prince 2 project governance structures.
  • Report to a project board and deliver routine project update reports to board members and other stakeholders.
  • The postholder will report to the Group Programme Manager and will also liaise with the central PMO
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the Company's risk assessment practices and Health & Safety Policy requirements.
  • Liaising with Key external stakeholders and with key suppliers
  • The PM will leverage decision making through the use of formal project governance processes and forums.
  • Follow the personal and professional behaviours and values.
  • Prioritising workloads in respect to challenges from project requirements
  • Ensuring all stakeholders are informed of the approaches taken
  • The projects are multifaceted and have a range of workstreams and stakeholders, both inside and outside the business
  • Qualified to degree standard or equivalent
  • Prince 2 Project Practitioner Qualification
  • Technicallyoriented PM
  • Experience of delivering complex IT projects in a fast paced and challenging environment
  • Experience of delivery of cloudbased solutions, SaaS solutions and Services and IT infrastructure delivery experience
  • Demonstrable evidence of delivering using both Agile and Waterfall
  • Excellent Stakeholder Engagement
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Able to manage upwards with the ability to lead meetings and present to project Boards and senior management.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrable ability of successfully managing complex multifaceted projects to time and budget
