Jennyswell OSC are looking for a qualified practitioner who is highly motivated and enthusiastic to work within our busy out of school service.

We provide high quality before and after school care with an emphasis on providing positive and fun play experiences in an exciting and nurturing environment.

This will include breakfast club sessions as well as after school care. We also have a weekly meeting to discuss OSC and training as required throughout the term.

Possibility of holiday cover-play schemes over school holidays

• October break, spring break and summer holidays.

The hours would be split between breakfast club sessions am) and after school sessions pm)


Please note this is a term time position with possible extra hours over school holidays for a new Holiday Playscheme operating.

Essential Criteria:

• HNC or SVQ 3 in Childcare and Early Education or SCQF Level 7 Qualification (Social Services, Children and Young People)
• Ability to work as part of a team with excellent communication skills. Applicants should have the commitment and enthusiasm to provide a nurturing and creative environment for children to play, relax and socialise.

Desirable Criteria:

• Food Hygiene Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Child Protection Training
• Knowledge of playwork is advantageous
