Description

We are recruiting on behalf of Round Electrical Distribution who are looking to recruit a
Warehouse Counter Sales Operative to join the team with potential to progress to work within the office.

Round Electrical Distribution is an independent electrical wholesaler and as a customer focused company, who concentrate on giving its customers quality products, excellent service and after sales support.

**Main duties include:

Stores

To ensure stock arriving at the warehouse is accepted, signed for and entered into stock control system in a timely manner.
Report any breakages and/or missing items to the supplier as soon as possible from any delivery.
To assist with any warehouse duties as assigned by your manager.
To act as a relief driver (if applicable). Non drivers will be considered.
Picking orders from the Warehouse

Sales

Answer the telephone, taking enquiries and orders plus processing, responding to and chasing quotes and orders.
Assisting customers both on the telephone and face to face with sales, quotations, product information and pricing queries.
Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and sales methods, to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction/loyalty.
Assist when required in the Stores/Warehouse.
Adhere to Company safety policy and other requirements relating to care of equipment including keeping the trade counter and work area clean and tidy.

The vacancy is a full time position, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
