Registration Officer

37 hours per week, Permanent

Salary G06 - £24,054 to £25,409 per annum
Wrexham Registration Service requires a Registration Officer to undertake a full range of duties. The post holder will be based at the busy Register Office at Wrexham. The hours of work will be 37 hours per week.

The duties will include registering births, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships and some citizenship work.

Attesting notices of marriage and civil partnerships, along with conducting a wide range of other ceremonies will also form part of the role and responsibilities.

You will have achieved a good standard of education and have experience of working in a customer-focused environment.

You should be confident with public speaking, be able to follow technical/statutory instructions and ideally have a working knowledge of statutory regulations for births, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships.

Flexibility, attention to detail and accuracy are key factors to this post.

A full driving licence and access to a car is essential as you must be able to travel to other venues when required.
