We are a small, busy independent café in the heart of West Bridgford looking for part time members of staff, starting immediately and working until the end of the September.

The primarily role includes working in our kitchen, cooking our simple menu to order, with dishes such as panini's, pizza, salad's and breakfast sandwiches ensuring a consistently high level of quality for each order.

You would also be responsible for upholding a high standard of hygiene and understanding the importance of day labelling and good stock rotation.

Working with us in our café is about much more than just being a great cook or barista.

We are looking for positive people who have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and will go above and beyond to put the customer in the centre of everything they do.

We would love to hear from people who are enthusiastic and outgoing, have a good sense of humour and relaxed manner.

It is important to us to develop a close knit, hard working team who have a friendly nature, a can do attitude and an eye for detail.

We are looking for people aged 18+ with at least 6 months experience in cooking or food prep.

Responsibilities:

Prepping food for the day
Taking orders and serving customers
Preparing drinks and food orders
Taking card/cash payments and till operation
Checking the temperature of fridges freezers or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning
Cleaning and tidying up at the end of the day
Good understanding of the product range to answer customer queries
Attention to detail while working and willingness to work as part of a team
To comply with health, safety and hygiene guidelines and regulations
