An exciting opportunity to join the Distribution Team
- As the
CryoEase Distribution Scheduler, you will look after the effective routing of the CryoEase delivery fleet, ensuring the most cost-effective routes are produced within the agreed external and internal service levels.
- You will work closely with the technical service and order management teams, to consistently find low cost and highly efficient solutions to emergency requirements.
- Also working closely with the distribution and fleet teams, you will need to ensure close management of driver hours, helping guarantee they are adhered to and controlled effectively, resources are prioritised and allocated accordingly, working time directive laws are always met whilst maximizing the utilization of driver's time as well as meeting all internal and external requirements for vehicle maintenance.
- Your success in this position depends on your creative approach to problem solving, a strategic awareness, strong interpersonal and communication skills and most importantly, the ability to work well under extreme pressure, whilst maintaining the high customer service expectations and internal KPIs.
- Key relationships with the Order Management and Technical Services Team, the Distribution team, including all of Fleet management, the drivers and their respective supervisors are also the foundation of your success in this role.

WORKING ARRANGMENTS:
Sunday to Thursday - 9am to 5pm (shift payment on top of the base salary); hybrid set-up available; occasional requirement to work overtime - mainly for holiday and sickness cover as required (infrequent)_
As the CryoEase Distribution Scheduler, you
will
- Be responsible for defined delivery schedules daily, ensuring efficiencies are maximized, whilst meeting all required service levels
- Ensure workload is balanced across the entire resource base
- Ensure the scheduling software is regularly maintained and all parameters and rules are accurate, providing suggestions and resolutions for ongoing problems
- Monitoring all relevant telemetry accounts and internal forecasting tools, scheduling deliveries accordingly and any reporting all technical problems to the relevant person/department
- Providing resource suggestions/requirements to the Scheduling and Distribution teams, regarding driver and truck allocation, in line with ever changing customer requirements and altering demands of the fleet
- Ensure CSO hours are managed closely, in line with the working time directive and that hours are managed locally as well as across the UK ensuring resources are fully utilized and managed accordingly
- Be responsible for any daytoday resource changes, ensuring relevant departments are communicated to and resource worksheets are maintained accurately
- Ensure all emergency requests are answered within specified timelines and SLAs are always adhered to, reporting any potential deviation from this to the necessary authority
- Ensure all required daily reports are completed within a timely manner, and any actions from these reports are communicated accurately
- Agree and coordinate new customer requests, particularly commission fill requirements, liaising with internal and external parties
- Provide constant phone availability for Planning related requirements, including Customer Service as well as CSO's and Field Operations
- Work additional and differing shifts at the request of the CryoEase Scheduling Supervisor and in line with the operational needs of the business
As the CryoEase Distribution Scheduler, you
already are or have
- Strong analytical skills and can solve complex problems in a logical fashion

- Able to work on own initiative and collectively as a team
- Proven ability to identify customer needs and proactively respond
- A highly motivated, selfstarting individual
- Able to effectively review own performance to ensure compliance to job requirements
- Ability to learn technical and functional material to perform effectively within Air Products
- SAP and LBShell
- Excellent PC skills and display an aptitude to learn
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvements and make recommendations
- Excellent interpersonal skills; proficient communication skills, both written and verbal with demonstrated ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organisation
- Demonstrating respect and professionalism when interacting with others
