In a nutshell:
We have a new opportunity for a receptionist to join our friendly Plymouth office.

In this role you will work as part of a team in providing a high quality, professional and efficient reception service to employees, clients, and contacts of the firm.

What you'll be doing day to day:

  • Ensuring the provision of an efficient 'front of house' service.
  • Greeting clients and visitors in a welcoming and courteous manner.
  • Setting up and clearing of the meeting rooms and waiting area.
  • Assist with opening, logging, sorting, and scanning of incoming post, and dealing with outgoing post.
  • Managing electronic diaries and coordinating meetings.
  • General administration duties such as scanning, photocopying, binding documents and typing when required.
  • Providing refreshments for clients and visitors including using the coffee machine, which full training will be provided on.
  • Inputting car registration details onto a system which requires regular maintenance.

About you:


  • Proficient in spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
  • Selfmotivated, punctual, and organised with a keen eye for detail.
  • Should possess initiative and confidence and have the ability to communicate well at all levels.
  • IT literate and able to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook packages quickly and accurately.
  • Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) minimum, with grades 4 or above to include English and Maths.
  • Good planning, prioritisation and organisational skills.
  • Reliable, presentable and courteous.
