Description
As our Credit Controller, you will be working within a small team reporting to the Credit Control Manager. The Credit Controller is responsible for managing the debt of the business.You will oversee all debts owed from existing creditors are received in a timely manner, to manage new requests for credits and ensure all payments received are allocated correctly.
What you'll do:
- Manage a ledger, ensuring debts are paid within terms
- Timely and effective collection of all debts and customers payments
- Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment
- Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
- Posting and allocating daily receipts to accounting systems
- Providing accounts information to internal departments
What experience you need:
- Good current experience as a Credit Controller
- Excellent customer service
- Excel knowledge
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Analytical skills and thorough attention to detail
- The ability to listen and negotiate with customers
- Excellent verbal communication
- Persistence and determination
- Familiarity with data entry software
- Ability to work well in a team
