Production Supervisor


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Supervisor to join a world leading manufacturer of technical equipment that enhances lives to millions of us around the globe.


The overall purpose of the role is to ensure all processes in the production of products are adhered to correctly and ensure products meet the required standards before dispatch.


Responsibilities:


  • Supervise production team to ensure products are delivered on time and adhere to the correct quality standards and specifications.
  • Inventory / Stock management to ensure enough materials are held at all times to meet production plans.
  • Report any issues or challenges on delivery date to ensure it isn't going to be compromised and agree a solution and revised completion date if required.
  • Assist Maintenance Engineers with diagnosing problems and testing machinery prior to dispatch.

Skills & Experience:


  • Experience of managing a team in a busy manufacturing environment
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Able to faultfind and assist with maintenance & assembly (electrical and mechanical)
  • Problemsolving
