We have an exciting opportunity available, here at Barking and Dagenham College, for an
Apprenticeships Officer.


This role is pivotal in the success of BDC Apprenticeship programmes and for supporting Apprentices and employers on their journey with the College.


The
Apprenticeships Officer will work as part of the Apprenticeship team contributing towards recruitment, retention, achievement and funding targets supporting each other in this busy department.


You will be responsible for a caseload of apprentices from Level 2 and above ensuring all aspects of the apprenticeship programme are well managed and all contractual requirements are fully met.

You will be the main point of contact for employers and apprentices.

Your role will also be responsible for working with Apprenticeship Managers to ensure all aspects of apprenticeship delivery conforms to Apprenticeship Standards, ESFA Funding rules, Ofsted Education Inspection Framework and internal and external audit requirements.

You should hold training or teaching qualification or a willingness to undertake a qualification (Teaching, training & assessing learning, and a Mentoring and Coaching qualification at L3 or a willingness to undertake a qualification.

You should also hold a recognised Health & Safety Qualification.


Experience in being responsible for own workload, diary management and working independently to tight schedules, along with experience in being responsible for own workload, diary management and working independently to tight schedules, and experience in delivering briefing sessions and presentations, are a must.
