What the role is all about
Three Business have a fantastic opportunity for a commercially experienced leader to join our Trading team.

The purpose of this role is to plan, track and create insight into the trading performance of the Three Business (SOHO, SME, Corp) directorate.


You will establish and develop a clear trading rhythm with key KPI's and lead indicators to support and guide the business.

In this exciting and vital role you will responsible for the following:

  • Create the 5 year and annual trading plan to meet the business requirements.
  • Provide insight into the performance of the sales channels
  • Create and provide insight of lead generation metrics to support the marketing teams with ROI cases
  • Manage the plan into all relevant stakeholders across the business
  • Monitor and propose options to optimise volume and value outcomes
  • Create and execute trading GTM plans for all new product and proposition launches
  • Create and collaborate on 3rd party partner plans to achieve budget targets
  • Control of pricing leavers to achieve volume and financial outcomes
  • C-Level interaction on outcomes of initiatives proposed on a monthly basis
  • Responsible for the cross functional trading meetings to drive the right outcomes for the B2B function
  • Ensure pricing operations, including implementation of pricing into core systems is accurate and timely
  • Manage a team of 34 FTE.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and deliver updates on the trading performance to various levels of business and Three senior management, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged to an appropriate degree.
  • Support Three senior leadership in achieving strategic goals and monitor progress with the use of appropriate metrics.
  • Sets annual channel trading budget in conjunction with sales, marketing and finance.
  • Sets the annual and quarterly rate & volume trading inputs for financial modelling.
  • Inputs into the long term financial forecast.
  • Quarterly planning for channel with interlock of sales targets with the relevant channels.
  • Review demand KPI's for success ie footfall, calls, traffic, conversion, average call handing times, abandonment rates to ensure budget targets are achieved.
  • Demand generation planning with marketing to ensure trading objectives are met.
  • Weekly trading inputs with feedback from the business and market insight B2B.
  • Create and own the offers trading roadmap with insight on performance of all activity through the line.
  • Commercial ownership of the B2B hardware partners.
  • Accountable for the timely and accurate implementation of pricing into core B2B trading systems.

Qualifications

What you'll ideally bring...

  • Extensive experience in the Telecommunications industry
  • Tangible experience of delivering trading success in the telecoms industry
  • Experience of leading a trading team in an omnichannel environment
  • Mobile commercial trading / GTM experience
  • Understanding of the B2B market.

  • The salary range for this role starts at £74,880 and the exact salary will differ by job and experience.
