What will the apprentice be doing?
You will be booking deliveries, following vehicle movements, helping to ensure on time collections and arrivals, working within a fast-paced environment.
- Communicating daily with drivers via telematics systems, and supporting the planners working alongside you, combined with a good level of general administration duties which will be required for this position
- An ability to work on your own initiative combined with a driven approach to the work undertaken is required to make sure documentation is completed to the desired standards
Collating driver hours and assisting in managing the timesheets with other members of the team.
- If you enjoy an administration role and have proven reliability, with a flexible & adaptable way of working, then you could be well suited for this position.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Business Administration Level
- Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English if required
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Possible permanent position on completion of the apprenticeship.
