Working Full Time: 37.5 Hours Per Week


As a Management Team Secretary Apprentice, you will be working closely with the Divisional Management team, and will support in providing a comprehensive secretarial service.

The use of initiative and discretion in exercising these responsibilities is essential. The post also includes duties associated with general administration for the Division. The post-holder will work in such a way to maximise the effective use of time for all team members.


The post-holder will support with the administration of the Planned Care Management Team, and flexibility is essential, along with the ability to prioritise your own workload.


The successful applicant will be required to undertake a full range of administrative responsibilities, whilst maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion.

The primary objective of the post is to provide full administrative support to the Planned Care Management team, as part of a small and friendly secretariat.


The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust consists of a 600 bedded large District General Hospital, which provides its services on the Countess of Chester Health Park, and a 64 bedded Intermediate Care Service at Ellesmere Port Hospital.


The Trust provides services in all of the surgical and medical specialties common to a District General Hospital with some specialist services.

The Trust serves the whole of the local population currently in excess of 250,000 residents which geographically covers populations in England and North Wales.
