Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the countywide chemotherapy scheduling team.

The role will be primarily based on Millbrook Suite at Kidderminster Hospital but there will be a requirement to travel and provide cover on our other two units (based at Worcester Royal Hospital and the Alexandra Hospital) during periods of absence.

You will be providing a pivotal role in this busy unit and will be responsible for scheduling all patients receiving systemic anti-cancer treatments (chemotherapy).

Working closely with nurses and consultants you will have a thorough understanding of all processes underpinning the delivery of chemotherapy.

In addition you will also be expected to act as part of the wider administration team.


The role requires a self-motivated and highly organised individual with excellent interpersonal skills as liaison with medical staff/administrative colleagues and patients is an important element of the post.

You will need to be an excellent team player as well as being able to work on your initiative. Attention to detail and good keyboarding skills are essential.

You should have some understanding of delivering on as aspect of a service within an administrative role and have an understanding of the cancer pathways.
