Description
Claremont Fan Court School is an independent day school for pupils aged from 21⁄2 to 18 years. The school is set in 100 acres of historic landscaped grounds of the Claremont Estate in Esher, Surrey.

We are expanding our team and seeking to appoint a reliable and hard working facilities assistant to work as part of the in-house team responsible for the safe upkeep and running of the school's facilities.

Working throughout the year, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. A flexible approach is available with typical pattern likely to be 7.30am-4.00pm or 9:30am - 6:00pm. Key responsibilities of the role include general repairs and maintenance, site security, parking management, event logistics and portering.

The successful applicant will be a strong team member and equally capable of working on their own.

A good standard of DIY skills to undertake general maintenance and repairs is essential; skilled or semi-skilled trade-qualified would be welcome.

Experience of working in a school environment would be an advantage but is not essential. A strong customer service ethic is key.

We offer a competitive salary and all the benefits of working in a thriving independent school including generous contributory pension, life assurance and discounted school fees, free lunches during term time, onsite parking and a cycle to work scheme.
