Description

In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to an elderly bed-bound lady and her partner, both of whom have health issues.

• Perform all household duties, including cleaning, washing, and organising living spaces to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
• Prepare and cook nutritious meals, taking into consideration any dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Assist with personal care tasks, ensuring the well-being and dignity of the individuals under your care.
• Provide support with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety of the elderly lady when moving from room to room.
• Monitor and administer medications as prescribed, following proper procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans and attend medical appointments when necessary.
• Foster a supportive and empathetic atmosphere, addressing the emotional and social needs of both individuals.
• Maintain open communication with family members and other caregivers to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to care.

• Prior experience in caregiving and housekeeping roles, especially in a similar setting.
• Knowledge of proper hygiene and safety practices in caregiving.
• Ability to handle medical emergencies and respond effectively.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those under your care.

• Day shift

• Weekend availability

• Middlesbrough: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
