Financial Accountant

I am working with an Organisation based in Gatwick who are looking for a Financial Accountant for 6 Months Initially.

The role is full time, to start ASAP and paying £350 Umbrella per day. The role is in scope of IR35.
Job Purpose
Financial Accountant and Treasury Manager in the Financial Accounting function.
As a Financial Accountant your main responsibilities would be:

  • Assisting in the production of the Company's Group's Annual Report & Accounts
  • Liaising with external auditors to help resolve sample testing queries
  • Helping to maintain the fixed asset register and collaborating with project teams to provide financial assurance around capital expenditure
  • Supporting process improvement activities aimed at streamlining the Company's accounting of Leases (IFRS 16)
  • Updating monthly BS reconciliations and resolving any differences found.
  • Providing backup and support to the Treasury Team.
  • Developing and implementing improvements to finance processes to enhance overall financial control.

You'll have relevant experience in:

  • Management or Financial Accounting
  • Preparing Journals
Essential Requirements

  • SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role.
  • Part or Fully Qualified
