Account Director / Group Account Director / Client Services Lead / Head of Client Services

Client:

We are looking for a tenacious, experienced, and highly engaging Account Director for our super cool, creative and caring client - a very established full-service creative events and engagement agency delivering magic for audiencesin virtual, hybrid and live events, strategy, content, production and technology.

Job purpose:


The Account Director will be responsible for the relationship management and growth of a client portfolio as defined by the business, as well as new client acquisition as required.

The role requires a strong sales drive complimented with a client relationshipfocus to ensure client satisfaction and trust to achieve performance against key KPI's and financial targets.


Key responsibilities and accountabilities:


Client / Account Management

  • Ownership, development & strategic implementation of Executive Leadership and C-Suite relationship management
  • Ownership, development & strategic implementation of Key Stakeholder relationship management
  • Ownership, development & strategic implementation of client growth and retention strategy
  • Ownership, development & implementation of amplification service strategy
  • Ownership and delivery of all client SLA's / KPI's for allocated client portfolio
  • In conjunction with Board Director and peers from across the agency, develop solution design, preparation, and timely delivery of allocated RFP responses for both new and existing clients.

Project Strategy and Oversight

  • Provide strategic input, clarity of objectives and financial oversight in relation to all projects within an allocated client portfolio to enable successful design and execution.
  • Ensure client satisfaction in relation to project design, deliverables, and execution.
  • Identify with project team peers' amplification upsell opportunities.
  • Join key project calls and planning meetings as and when required.

Budget & Finance Management

  • Ensure profit maximization on all client projects.
  • Development of ongoing review of client portfolio commercials & pricing initiatives
  • Ownership, management & delivery of Job Log & GM targets

Resource Management

  • Working with department heads to ensure adequate and suitable resource allocation on client projects.
  • Day to day management of direct line reports
  • Management of direct line report annual and sickness leave
  • Input of timesheet activity on a weekly basis

People Management

  • Develop, mentor and coach all direct line reports ensuring periodic meetings to discuss progress and review development plans.
  • Working with the Associate Director Talent Management, monitor development plans for all team members considering:
  • Current Skills Analysis
  • Training Needs Analysis
  • Individual's Needs & Desires
  • Development Planning Strategies
  • Provide consistent leadership, motivation, and direction to all team members.
  • Share best practice and ensure delivery best standards at all times.
  • Participate in the interviewing and selection of new team members as required an in line with relevant approval processes.

Client Governance

  • Ensure compliance with client and company brand guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with client and company SLA's.
  • Ensure compliance with all client and company privacy and security protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) 2018 Regulations.

General

  • Work collaboratively with Peers and all teams to ensure effective delivery of all client projects, including travelling on site as required.
  • Attend the office a minimum of 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday).
  • Attend company training days as and when required.
  • Attend company meetings as and when required.
  • Undertake any additional task as required to support the business.
  • Manage and submit personal expenses and credit card reconciliations within timeframes specified.
