We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning Accountant to join a market leading business based in Felixstowe on an initial 12-month fixed term contract.

You will be a qualified accountant with proficient experience within planning, forecasting and budgeting.


Responsibilities:


  • To ensure timely and accurate completion of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts
  • To prepare accurate headcount and associated pay cost forecasts in line with information collected from budget holders
  • Preparing related documentation including P&L's, Balance sheets, Cashflows, Ratios, Presentations and various other reports
  • To ensure accuracy and consistency across all different forecasting reports
  • Assisting in the review and monitoring of budgets and forecasts
  • Developing and improving forecasting systems, techniques, methodologies and processes
  • Responsible for the monthly cashflow reporting
  • To carry out other finance related tasks as directed by Management and Executive team.
  • Ensuring compliance to all policies, procedures, standard operating practices, with recommendations for actions and continuous improvement.

Key skills:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with relevant post qualified experience
  • Advanced level within Excel and proficient with PowerPoint.
  • Experience in planning / forecasting / budgeting
  • Excellent planning, analytical, communication and organisational skills within a business finance environment.
