Developing and delivering strategy
- Playing a key role in
global reward strategy design and delivery, ensuring that the reward offering across the three major regions and group functions is compelling, competitive and aligns with Inchcape's business strategy. - Lead pivotal reward projects and initiatives at a global level. (e.g. Global job evaluation project)
- Creating engaging communication materials to educate leaders and employees about reward policies and initiatives, ensuring that messaging is consistent and embedded within regional/global policies and processes.
- Maintaining strong constructive dialogue with external networks to ensure the Group's compensation programmes include an understanding of key trends.
Reward Expertise and Partnership
- Supporting the delivery of the
Executive and Group Remuneration agenda, so arrangements are aligned with the current and future Group needs. Specifically understanding the commercial performance and business drivers, to give alignment when designing the
group's variable pay/ incentive schemes. - Endtoend accountability (i.e. from policy through to payroll) for leading and managing the
International Mobility and
Share Plans policy development, processes and execution. - Being the goto source of specialist information and advice from stakeholders across the global business building excellent relationships across the organisation. Occasionally, the role holder will be involved in
M&A activity. - Being a lean central team means we heavily rely on specialist internal partners and external support. This role will ensure the network of specialist internal partners and external support, is focused on Inchcape's reward agenda and liaises across the ecosystem to seamlessly deliver endtoend policy and integrated, efficient processes.
- Design and develop the global Reward and HR community's ongoing learning curriculum with respect to Reward. Sharing best practice and provide opportunities for countries to engage and input their ideas to policy and process design.
Operational Excellence and Governance
- Working with regional HR/Reward teams to ensure practices are simple to implement and align to both global and local governance, regulatory requirements, and reward guidance.
- Managing global reward policy design and process changes effectively producing proposals to support new initiatives or improvements to current policies including appropriate supporting research, analytics, and recommendations.
- Develop and plan with regions/markets a holistic Total Reward review process, where countries selfassess against Inchcape's Reward principles. Facilitation of action plans to achieve the Reward requirements of the employee value proposition and affinity to Inchcape.
