2nd Line Field Engineer - Mayfair Fin-Tech**
Opportunity:A trusted and well-funded Fin-Tech organisation is seeking several 2nd Line Field Engineers with Office 365, Azure or AWS skills to support four hedge funds and private banks within the Mayfair area. Within this opportunity, you will primarily provide field-basedsupport to our client's customer base, but on occasion, you will be able to provide support remotely.

This role will give the chosen 2nd Line Field Engineer an opportunity to gain access to the latest Microsoft technologies and work alongside several senior VIPs within financial markets.

Additionally, our client can offer the chosen Engineer (s) an opportunityto progress through the ranks, learn new technologies and obtain industry-leading qualifications.


Core job responsibilities:

  • Provide white glove BAU/Project based support
  • Escalations from the helpdesk
  • Troubleshooting network and infrastructure issues for all clients.
  • Carry out client onboarding
  • Carry out Cyber Security audits
  • Attend project meetings and keep stakeholders updated
  • Produce reports and documentation

Technical Exposure:


  • Extensive handson experience specifying/configuring/troubleshooting user and customer issues in a changing Windows Desktop and Server environment.
  • Extensive experience in supporting and administrating Office , Windows XP10, Windows Server and Active Directory and Exchange
  • Troubleshooting and configuration capabilities with SAN, LAN and VLAN's.
  • An awareness of cloudbased products, including Office 365, AWS and Azure.
  • Sound Networking knowledge of TCP/IP, Networking and troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP)
  • Knowledge of security architectures, especially concerning ecommerce and the internet
  • Good experience with Blackberry, Apple and Android Products and devices

- £38,000 (circa)
