Job Summary
We are looking for a enthusiastic and caring person to join our small committee run Pre-School. As an assistant practitioner you will work as a key person to a small group of children.


Job Type / Category
This post is full time, term-time only. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8am -3.15pm.


Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Applicants must hold at least a NVQ level 3 in Early Years Childcare and must have at least 2 years experience of working in a childcare environment.

The right applicant must have a sound knowledge of the EYFS and hold a paediatric first aid qualification.

We will however consider applicants who currently hold a NVQ Level 2 and working towards obtaining their Level 3 qualification.

Sholing Community Centre Pre-School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. An enhanced DBS will be required. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Successful applicants are required to enlist to the DBS update service, if not already.

Two references will be sought before employment commences.
