About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join a care team for a 45-year-old female living in Leeds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care and daily living activities.
- Supporting DG with mobility, including hoisting and transferring.
- Accompanying DG on outings and social activities, including meals out with her husband.
- Driving DG's vehicle (VW Caravelle) as needed.
- Assisting with meal preparation, mindful of swallowing difficulties.
- Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment in DG's home.
- Working closely with DG's family and other care team members.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
- Confident and sensitive approach to care, respecting independence and preferences.
- Experience in supporting individuals with cerebral palsy or similar conditions preferred.
- Full, valid UK driving license.
- Physical capability to assist with mobility and handling.
- Nonsmoker preferred.

£12.00-£24.00 per hour

No less than 30 per week

Experience:
- caring for someone in their own home: 1 year (required)
- working with someone with a brain injury: 1 year (required)
- professional care (working for a care provider in the UK): 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- right to work full time in the UK without sponsorship (required)
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle (required)
