The Opportunity


As a Technical Consultant at Landmark, you will be responsible for liaising with internal and external customers to gain a detailed understanding of their requirements and see projects through to delivery.

You will work hand-in-hand with the Project Managers to produce scalable, secure, performant solutions that fulfill business requirements.

The role involves, but is not limited to:

  • Accompanying the Relationship and Account Managers at customer meetings to provide technical insight and knowledge.
  • Reviewing change requests submitted by external customers and carry out detailed analysis to understand the requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Documenting Designs based on the requirements and acceptance criteria and present the Designs to the external customers (that have submitted the Change Requests).
  • Clearly communicating options and recommendations for changes / features to be released on time, with an agreed scope and to the required quality.
  • Supporting the production & execution of software delivery estimates and plans to support the needs of the business.
  • Supporting customers with answers to specific questions about configuration options available in the software.
  • Engaging in customer focused activities, supporting the Project Manager with delivering demos at appropriate milestones within the Project Plan.
  • Collaborating with the Software Engineering, Infrastructure, DevOps, Solution Architects and Service Operations to enable a successful transition to supported operation including networks, infrastructure, database and Cloud hosting facets of the extended solution.

About You


You will ideally have a background in software development with experience of delivering projects for internal and external customers and good business analysis skills.

You will also have/be;

  • Commercially astute
  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A good understanding of Quality and Information Security principles is also highly desirable
