Description

Do you have experience in assembling of Electrical and Mechanical products and looking for a long term opportunity where you can develop your skills and progress?

Working for an established Optical Manufacturing Company as a Quality Inspector, you will be inspecting finished goods which will involve visual checks and use of metrology tools prior to dispatch.

In addition to this, you will complete NCR's and correctiveactions, identifying training needs and liaising with team leaders on faults.

Your skills in troubleshooting, use of tools and techniques will be developing in this role to ensure you a successful career

What you will be doing:

Carrying out functional and visual inspections
Use of metrology tooling
Liaising with team leaders where faults are identified and communicate back to the assembler
Develop SOP's and clear methodologies for inspection as the portfolio of products expands.
Document inspection results via reports and NCR's (Non Conformance Reports) /Corrective actions.
Identify training needs and communicating to the team leaders.
Be involved and promote continuous improvement activities and regularly collaborate with other departments.
