Enough about us, this is who we are looking for:

Job Title:
HGV Mechanic

Carry out the full cycle of repairs, servicing, MOT work to a high standard on a range of heavy goods vehicles
Carry out routine & planned maintenance, diagnostic work.
Ensure the legal compliance of the company fleet of cars, light vehicles and HGV's.
Ensure Health and Safety in the working environment and report any incident or accident.
Maintain good communication with all company colleagues.
Ensure vehicle parts lists and maintenance paperwork is accurate and complete for effective repairs.
Take ownership of minimising and accounting for the costs of parts.
Ensure all defects are rectified within specified time limits.
Minimise downtime of vehicles.

Work experience in Waste industry and HGV licence would be considered as advantages.

Hours:_Monday to Friday, 06:00-17:00 (plus alternate Saturdays, AM)

Salary & benefits:_£16.00 per hour (plus OT rates)
