Job Title:
HGV Mechanic


  • Carry out the full cycle of repairs, servicing, MOT work to a high standard on a range of heavy goods vehicles
  • Carry out routine & planned maintenance, diagnostic work.
  • Ensure the legal compliance of the company fleet of cars, light vehicles and HGV's.
  • Ensure Health and Safety in the working environment and report any incident or accident.
  • Maintain good communication with all company colleagues.
  • Ensure vehicle parts lists and maintenance paperwork is accurate and complete for effective repairs.
  • Take ownership of minimising and accounting for the costs of parts.
  • Ensure all defects are rectified within specified time limits.
  • Minimise downtime of vehicles.
Work experience in Waste industry and HGV licence would be considered as advantages.

Hours:_Monday to Friday, 06:00-17:00 (plus alternate Saturdays, AM)
